Berea Faith Community Outreach, Inc., an umbrella organization comprised of more than dozen faith communities, administers the Berea Community Food Bank, which is housed at First Christian. Operated entirely by volunteers from constituent faith groups and relying on food donated from throughout the community, the Food Bank served nearly 300 families in 2004.
